Evermore Planner ("Evermore", "we", "our") helps couples and their collaborators plan weddings. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email, password hash, and (optionally) avatar.
- Wedding workspace data — the couple's names, wedding date, venue, budget, vendors, checklist, timeline, branding, microsite content, save-the-date designs, and other planning data you choose to enter.
- Guest data — names, contact details, dietary notes, RSVP responses, and seating you record about your guests.
- Collaborator data — invites you send and the accounts that accept them.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, error logs, IP address, and device/browser information collected to keep the service secure and reliable.
- Payment data — handled by our payment processor; we do not store your full card details.
2. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the planning tools.
- Authenticate you and protect accounts from abuse.
- Send transactional email (RSVP confirmations, reminders, invites you trigger).
- Provide customer support, including AI-assisted help in the support widget.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use guest data for advertising.
3. Sharing
We share data only with:
- Collaborators you add to a wedding workspace.
- Service providers that host our infrastructure, send email on our behalf, process payments, or power AI assistance — bound by confidentiality and data-protection agreements.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
4. Storage and security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by role-based permissions and row-level security so each wedding's data is isolated from other accounts. No system is perfectly secure — if we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
5. Retention
We retain workspace data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel a paid plan, planning data is kept for a grace period before automated cleanup so you can resubscribe without losing work. You can delete your wedding workspace at any time from settings.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. Guests can ask the hosting couple to update or remove guest entries; we act on the couple's behalf as a data processor for guest data.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure aggregate product usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Children
Evermore is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or via email. Continued use of Evermore after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
