Our story

A Lisbon bookshop, a borrowed novel.

We met on a rainy Tuesday in a tiny Lisbon bookshop, both reaching for the last copy of the same novel. Henry let Eloise have it, on the condition she'd tell him whether it was any good over coffee.

Six years, three apartments and one rescue greyhound later, Henry proposed at sunrise on the cliffs of Cassis with the same book in his pocket — this time with a ring tucked inside.

We can't wait to celebrate with the people who shaped our story.

Where it's happening

Two venues, ten minutes apart

The ceremony takes place at a 12th-century chapel in the village of Eygalières. We'll then drive (or hop a shuttle) to the farmhouse for cocktails, dinner & dancing.

Restored 17th-century farmhouse with terrace, candlelit barn and pool. Welcome aperitif and farewell brunch are also held here.

Travel & stay

Getting to Provence

By air

Fly into Marseille (MRS), 50 min away, or Nice (NCE), 2 hr. Group shuttles depart from both at 2pm Friday.

By car

Free on-site parking. Designated drivers receive a complimentary brunch token Sunday morning.

What's the dress code?+

Black-tie optional. Florals, jewel tones and breathable fabrics encouraged — September in Provence is warm.

Is the ceremony outside?+

Yes — the ceremony and cocktails are outdoors. Dinner & dancing move into the candlelit barn.

Are children welcome?+

We adore your little ones, but this celebration is adults-only. We've arranged trusted childcare at the hotel — ask us for details.

Can you accommodate dietary needs?+

Absolutely. Note allergies and preferences on your RSVP and we'll make sure the kitchen knows.

Will you celebrate with us?

RSVPs close July 14, 2026. You'll be able to choose your meal, list dietary notes and even request a song.
